I wish you all (those few readers i might have already lost…) a happy season with joy and lots of cookies.

I myself love cookies and cakes and everything related. Even if this year I can’t be with my whole family, i can still enjoy the making (and of course, eating) of a cookie I learned to bake from someone close.

It’s called cake with coconut frosting.

You need:

for the dough:

250 g. sugar
250 g. flour
2 eggs
1 spoon of honey (optional)
100 ml. milk
baking powder

for the glazing:

200 g. sugar
200 g. butter
4 spoons od milk
4 spoons of cocoa
grated coconut

How to bake:
Dough: Mix the ingredients until you obtain a dough. Place it on a tray with baking paper and bake for 20 minutes (or less, if it’s done). Let the dough cool, then cut it in cubes.

Glazing: Boil the ingredients until the sugar melts.

Roll the cubes through the cocoa glazing, then roll them in the coconut race.

Done Enjoy !

But there’s a difference between meaningless gossip and the one someone does because of hate. That one is pretty dangerous.

In the past year i met some people who do this. They gossip with hate and anger, they try to make others see how my friends or even life partner are a bad choice for.. anything. They talk bad things, the even lie just to make me hate them too.

Well, it doesn’t work for me. Some stupid words won’t do that for me.
I have persons i care about and i can even count them, they are few. I know them for some time now and since i keep in touch it means i actually like their presence! I don’t need some outsider to tell me how wrong i am.

Actually, i pitty those gossipers. I pitty them for not having anything else better to do. Trying to make me dislike someone is noones business. It’s my choice who i make friends with.

It’s actually sad how some people occupy their time. In my opinion they make a fool of themselves and make me stay away from them. I sure don’t want to be another subject for their gossipy hobby. Because this is what happens. If they are able to say such bad things or even lie about one of my close ones, why can’t they do it to me too?

I understand wanting to promote your site but.. come on! I do that too but i comment with a relevant name when i have something to say, i try to say more than “thanks for posting”.

Is this a new form of spam? ’cause if it is, it’s really annoying.
It’s flattering to have hundreds of comments and have the number growing constantly so i figured i could write a small guide to comment writing.

Tips for writing nice comments:

- First things first. Let people know you’re online
You have a website and want people to know about it.
By commenting on blogs, websites or writing in forums you let’s me know you exist too. I might have not known you exist so by deciding to be active online you can easily let me know about you or your website.

- Attract others to your website
Try to write something on the subject. Maybe you also have a point of view- share it.
Writing a comment related to the post makes me think you read it, liked or disliked it and you have something to say. That matters to me so I might also visit your website because you might have something interesting and worth visiting. Comments like “Great post” or “Nice info” makes me think you didn’t even bother to read anything so why should I bother to visit your website?

- Don’t manipulate anyone
Be discreet. Attract others to your site by being polite, not by force.
You are a person, you have a name. Use your name or nickname for posting. Using names like “my-entire-website-name” or “this-is-what-i-do-online” makes me delete your comment, it looks like spam. There is a box in which you put your nickname and a box for putting your website. Use them for what they are or I will surely mark you as spam.

Summing up, letting people know you are online by good on-the-subject comments, you might attract a few visitors. This is what commenting to promote your website is all about, writing quality comments so people would be attracted to you for your work.

So, to sum up, i work now! Finaly! I work at some tomato campaign and it’s really tireing, i work in shifts and don’t have much time to spend on the internet because i’m not the only one using it so… less online time for me.

Anyhow, moving was the best thing that could happen to me and my other half! We can “be free” now, no more ‘wash the floor everytime you pee’ because those… those.. things (i can’t call them people, i’d offend all human beings) demand it, no more ‘there’s no money in the house, you starve’ because the things kept food under their bed or something, no more gossips to hear at night because those two idiots talk to loud and we could actually hear them call us ‘jerks’, ‘trash’, ’stupid’ and other wonderful appelatives, we can actually enjoy breathing from now on.

I have no idea what happened. Yesterday all my sites were fine, this morning none of them worked I even woke up at 7 o’clock, as if i knew… (okay, i didn’t, but what are the odds )

I kept getting errors when trying to acces the sites, errors like “parse error: expected “;” on line <number_of_line> in file <name_of_file>”. I tried to upload each file i got errors on one by one, until i got another nice error: “can’t reach <something about widgets> on file <file_name> on line <number_of_line> “, or something like this.

I’m telling you all this not because it’s damn interesting, but because maybe someone got some similar errors. I uploaded all files from the wordpress version, except the folders. I also had to upload wp-config again, it didn’t work otherwise.

It’s all ok now, let’s hope it stays this way

This is a simple recipe, doesn’t take to long to prepare and it’s delicious

Here it is, chocolate cake:

You need:

160 g. of flour
150 g. sugar
3 eggs
200 ml. milk
chocolate cream (nutella or any kind)
whipped cream
vanilla sugar
1 small pack of yeast

How to bake: Mix the ingredients: eggs, sugar, milk, flour, yeast and a bit of salt. Place the dough into a cake form, for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Then cut it in two and grease the bottom with nutella, then with whipped cream. Put the top and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.

Apparently though, the majority of teenagers these days are very keen when it comes to new fashion trends..

Here in Italy i noticed how cool it is for people to wear their pants as low as possible. I tried it once, just for curiosity (i was at work, in my uniform – a pair of green pants, pretty large ones) and i immediately pulled them back up (my butt looked like a train ran over it, it was that flat!). Others though… wore them as low as they possibly could, just so they won’t fall down completely.

I see people wear their pants like this every single day. I saw different undies, from boxers to pretty colored bikinis.

But fashion isn’t fit for everyone. Some look very ridiculous wearing the pants low like this. Like a boy i saw once in a bus. He was wearing a par of nice bluejeans but when he rised from his chair i actually saw his dorky underwear (those old, very old styled undies..). His pants were so low i don’t understand why he wore them anyway! It’s warm enough outside…

All in all… i prefer to look at myself in the mirror before going out and looking like crap. Maybe for some the new trends fit, but fashion is not for everyone.

Think again before showing yourself on the street looking ridiculous. Create your own style and try to make people admire your clothes, not laugh at you because you have no idea how to dress..

I’ve been adding my sites to link directories, a few per day not to harm myself with too much work and i noticed the pending list of sites. Now this is the reason i’m writing this…

There are a lot, and i mean a LOT of directories that have no less than.. a few thousands pending links. What’s the use of having a directory if you have thousands and thousands of pending links?! The biggest number i saw was 65.364 links pending… After i submited mine there were 65.366, so i’m hoping maybe in a few years i’ll get accepted or rejected..

I prefer directories that accept sites without reciprocal URL, if i was to add a link for every link directory i submit my site to, i’d need a whole sidebar just for the links. And besides, what’s the use of providing the link if i have to wait years for the directory to accept my site?

I changed my settings in my dashboard but nothing has changed within the sitemap. Still shows a long list of links…

I’m confused.

“oh, my”, i thought, “i’m gonna have lunch in a real restaurant”. Expensive food, weiters dressed sharp and everything, just like in the movies Too bad i left dissapointed.

The food was… less than nothing. There were 3 dishes and dessert.

The first dish was a big plate with 3 pieces of transparent meat, coverred with 3 pieces of salad and 3 pieces of a tomato… “great”, i thought, “i will only eat the vegetables but maybe they have something else coming, something more consistent”.
Wrong…

The weiters noticed i don’t eat meat and offered to prepare me something based on cheese instead of meat.

The second dish was a small (and i mean SMALL) piece of lasagna… “ok, this must have been the apetizer. I’m really hungry, when does the real food come?”

It didn’t… For the last dish i got a plate with cheese. 3-4 pieces of cheese, 2-3 salad leaves and a small piece of mozzarella. “oh my god, we’re gonna starve until we get home..”

I always thought that going to a restaurant was something luxurious. For a high price i expected something to ease my hunger but instead i left more hungry than i arrived. Not to talk about my other half, he’s a man, he clearly eats more than me.

Of course the day ended in a fantastic wish to eat a kebab. We felt like 2 people in the dessert and the kebab was our oasis! But we were to tired from all that hunger and went straight to bed when we arrived home
